SaaS Platforms
SaaS Platforms cover the browser-based tools teams subscribe to for knowledge work, communication, billing and operations. Because pricing is recurring and switching costs are high, we weigh long-term value and data portability far more heavily here than in any other category. Every platform is trialed for at least 60 days by a working team before it can appear in the leaderboard.

Software & Apps is our broadest category, spanning design tools, developer utilities, creative suites and niche productivity apps that still ship a desktop client.
