Our Mission
SiftPrime exists to give people a straight answer before they spend money — across the categories below, where a wrong choice costs real time and real money, and where marketing copy rarely tells you what you actually need to know.
We built SiftPrime because most review sites read like they were written to hit a word count: vague praise, no real testing, and scores that somehow land on 4 or 5 stars no matter what the product does. SiftPrime holds every review to the same fixed process, whether or not a commission is involved.

How We Review — Our Testing Process
Every product that appears on SiftPrime goes through the same four-step process before a score is published:
- SelectionProducts are chosen based on reader demand and category relevance — not on which merchant offers the highest commission.
- Hands-On TestingOur editorial team uses the product directly, scored against a fixed five-part rubric: performance, build quality, value, ease of use, and support.
- Independent ScoringEach score is recorded against that rubric before any commission is factored in — full weighting on our review methodology page.
- Periodic ReviewListings are revisited over time. If a product changes for the worse, the review updates — scores are not permanent marketing.
